Hair Care Powder Mask for Healthy Hair + Hair Growth Update:

I have been very particular about my hair since last month and even in my busy schedule I am taking my time out to pamper my hair. Two months back I bought a few hair care powders and since then I am using them as my weekly hair mask and today I am going to share my experience with you all.

Things I Used:

  1. Hibiscus Powder
  2. Methi Powder
  3. Amla Powder
  4. Aritha Powder
  5. Brahmi Powder
  6. Shikakai Powder
  7. Curd
  8. Water
  9. Mixing Bowl
  10. Plastic/ Fiber Spoon.

Method:

Firstly, I cut all the sachets of the powders and pour them in an air tight container, Then shake the container well so that the powders get mixed seamlessly. After 5 minutes, I open the container and take 3 tablespoons of the mixture into a bowl and keep it aside. Next I take 4 tablespoons of fresh unflavored curd and mix it carefully with the powder mixture. After mixing it for nearly 3-4 minutes, you will get a thick paste like consistency. I keep the mixture overnight in the refrigerator and the following morning I add 1 cup of water to it and again mix it well. I make sure my hair is oiled while I am applying this mask, and I apply from roots to the tips of my hair. I leave it for maximum 2 hours and wash it off with plain water.

Facts:

  • If you cannot leave the mixture overnight, you can mix it at least before 3 hours of applying it.
  • If you have extremely dry hair/ dry scalp, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil in to the mixture.
  • You do not need to shampoo after using the mask as it contains Aritha powder which is a natural shampooing agent.
  • Use a lot of water while washing it off to avoid small particles leftovers.
  • You can use this mask once or twice a week.

My Hair Growth Update & Picture:

I have noticed more than 1 inch growth since I last checked, which is quite comforting for me because of my busy and messy schedule. I feel my hair has become less frizzy (yes, I am using a special pack for that, and I am going to share it soon), and also it has gained a little bit of volume. My hair texture is far better now and no more split ends.

Sorry about the picture quality, I promise to get a better shot next time! I did this is a real hurry.
Overall, I am quiet happy with the progress and the improvements. And more hair mask recipes and DIYs coming soon. Also, there are few changes happened in my life that I will share with you all in my upcoming posts.

  1. There are no shortcuts to growing luscious, long locks. On average, hair grows about a half an inch per month. Your general health, well-being, and genetic factors affect your rate of hair growth.
Home remedies as well as hair treatment both is considered best option to stop hair fall.

  2. Losing your locks at a younger age can mean other problems. It can be a sign of illness or that a person is under very high stress. Chemotherapy can also cause balding.
