NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat Powder Foundation Review:

When talking about great quality products with various ranges and affordable price, NYX would be definitely on the list! I have used few of NYX products and now I am a fan of it. LAst time when I visited my sister's place in Delhi; we went for shopping and I picked up NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat Powder Foundation and liquid foundation from Sephora, Select City Walk. Today I am going to review NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat Powder Foundation!

Product Description: Want a matte finish to help you achieve a flawless complexion? The Stay Matte Not Flat Powder Foundation comes in a variety of gorgeous shades that provide the perfect finish to flatter all skin tones! You’ll look naturally flawless with minimal effort!

Price & Quantity: Around Rs. 700 (I bought for Rs. 650 or so I guess) for 7.5 g.

Shade Reviewed: SMP12 Tawny Fauve.

My Experience with NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat Powder Foundation:

First of all, I always prefer powder foundations as they are very easy to use, and great for touch ups also. They can be a life saver and an enemy during summer time. For me, they always worked fine. Now let's see what this particular product done for me.

I am somewhere between MAC NC 43.5 to NC 42 depending on the weather and this shade suits me best in summer (when little tanned). So, basically this shade is for NC 43.5 or above. Currently, I have grown out of this shade and this makes my skin look little bit darker than it is.

The texture of this powder foundation is very smooth and soft, which delivers an even and smooth application. It has light coverage but still hides patches and spots like pro. For casual use, this product is the best. With the help of the applicator, few swipes of this powder foundation creates a lovely dewy yet glowing layer of light foundation, which needs no other setting powder.
It gives me a quite long wear, in spite of sweating. I feel no need of touch ups atleast for 5-6 hours. Since it has the micro powder consistency, touching up does not make it uneven or patchy.

The Good Points:
  • Well pigmented.
  • Smooth powder.
  • Easy to apply.
  • Gives medium coverage.
  • Mirror and applicator provided.
  • Affordable price.
  • Light on the skin.
  • Gives a glowing, natural finish.

The Not-so-Good Points:
  • There is none!

Rating: 5/5.

My Recommendation: I would highly recommend this to everyone as it offers great coverage with glowing finish that looks very natural. There are many shades to choose from and I am going to choose mine next time I am at Sephora. And yes, this product is one of my favorite!
