My Experience with Grand Vindu Restaurant:

Rocky and Mayur have ventured out to explore food from all parts of India and curate videos on Askme.com I'm contributing my part by relishing my favorite dishes at Grand Vindu and sharing my views with you all!

You can also upload your video review on AskMe and stand a chance to meet Rocky and Mayur.

Did you ever feel that exciting curiosity when a new restaurant gets open, and you feel like, how's going to be the food? I do! Nearly 4 months ago I saw a restaurant in my way to home and I thought to myself, "This is new! I never saw it before! I must try it!!" So, I told my husband that there is a new restaurant and we need to go there! He agreed and we visited, in this article I am going to review the new restaurant Grand Vindu.

Location: ECIL X Road, Hyderabad.

My Experience with Grand Vindu Restaurant:

From outside although it may look like a small restaurant, but when you enter, it is quite a big one with banquet hall. The interior is nice, and soothing, The reception is nicely decorated with good seating arrangement. I loved the ceiling chandelier! We walked through the banquet hall where nearly 60-70 people can sit. And in the left, there is the main seating area with 10 small and medium tables. The decor is very decent and likable. Ambiance of this restaurant is something that you would love to enjoy your family outing or even a date.

Coming to the service, I am extremely satisfied, I am not just saying this for the sake of anything, but I truly want to thank the waiters and the manager there for their humble, welcoming and great service. My husband asked the manager if we can take pictures or not, he readily approved it. The serving time was near 25 minutes, which is average, yet tolerable. Because, they served complementary cold drinks right after we were settled, Grand Vindu caught me that point only! So, waiting for food was not that bad.

We ordered Cantonese Soup which was fair. then for the main course, we had Schezwan Fried Rice, Mutton Masala, Rumali Roti, Veg Chatpata. Frankly speaking, the rice was out of the world, it looked like it might be spicy or heavy, but it was the best fries rice I have ever had! The mutton was very well done, and tasty (Husband said). I loved the Veg Chatpata and Rumali Roti. I always prefer Rotis more than rice, and till date I did not get Rumali Roti available in any restaurant I visited earlier. So, for me, it was like double win! I enjoyed every bit of it. In the dessert, I had chocolate scoop and husband had sweet lassi, which was pretty cool!

So, to sum up, I am going to visit Grand Vindu many times as I am in love with the food, and the service; absolutely no glitches or complaints! They treated us like we are special guests and this feeling is something we all crave for when we visit a restaurant.

My Recommendation: I am fully satisfied with the service and food quality. If you are near to this location, you should definitely try this restaurant and I am sure you will have a great time here. I can bet, Grand Vindu is going to be my weekend gate-away!
