Banjara’s Premium Papaya Water Review:

Are you bored of your regular rose water? Try papaya water! Doesn't it sound like the old advertisements we used to watch in our childhood? As you might know recently I was on a hunt for herbal hair care products; while searching, I found this product called Banjara’s Premium Papaya Water and I was like, I must try this. I love papaya a lot, for my health and also for my skin. I hardly use papaya face pack as getting a ripe papaya is quite difficult for me where I live, so this was the best way for me to add papaya in to my skin care regime.

Surprise Your Loved Ones With IGP: Indian Gifts Portal Site Review

Father's day is next week, are you guys planning anything for your beloved fathers? I already did! Giving your loved ones a surprise is something that you can never put a price tag on, especially when you see their glistening eyes and widest smile across the mouth. I was contacted by the PR person from IGP i.e. Indian Gifts Portal which is a leading online gift shop. I visited the site and in no time I started searching for gifts. So, today I am going to review about this site.

What Is IGP?

Have you thought about ever buying birthday or anniversary gifts online, and by this I mean fresh flowers, cake, chocolates including a perfect gift for your loved ones? Well, IGP is definitely your destination. This site not only provides an awesome service, it also conveys your message to your loved ones and will do the best to make them feel special while handing over the parcel. There might be a lot of websites where you can buy many products for gifting, but IGP offers a full-proof gifting experience where your loved one will receive your gift nicely wrapped and with an envelope where your exact words are printed in a letter; this is beyond my expectation.

My Experience with IGP:

I had very smooth experience with the website, and also with the app. It is quite easy to navigate and search for the exact type of products that you will like to gift. Since father's day is coming, I wanted to make the most of it; also husband's birthday is quite far as well as our anniversary. Anyways, there are a whole lot of variety options for each and every occasion that we might want to celebrate, and there are even categories for each relationship.

Finding your occasion and the type of gifts you would like to gift is very simple and also there lot of payment options. The most exciting option this site is definitely going to be the personalized gifts, it has mugs, pillow covers, laptop skins and what not where you can inscribe your or your loved ones' names and also pictures (WHAT?!). I am seriously in love with this site and also gave a friendly reminder to husband dear- 'Remember this name "IGP"; you are going to need this before our anniversary!'

The service is extremely well, the products got shipped within 2 hours from the time of placing the order and I received the parcel on the 3rd day which is again very impressive.

What I Bought:

I always gift something that is useful and can be used daily. So, while I was searching gifts for my father, a lot of options caught my attention but when I saw a cool combination of a watch, a wallet and a sunglass, I knew that is going to be my final choice. Now, I have to repack it and I will wait when I personally hand this over to my dad.

My Rating: 4.6/5.

My Recommendation: I would definitely recommend IGP to all for your well planned celebration or even last moment plans as this site also sends a wide range of fresh flowers, cakes, sweets, chocolates, soft toys across 300 cities in India, You can even send gifts internationally! You will find every Indian occasions on the list to buy the perfect gift for the respective occasion and make your loved ones smile. For me, IGP has reached a near perfect level as an online gift shop. Click here to browse for a perfect gift for your father, this year and get discounts using FD20 coupon code while you checkout.

PS: This review is not biased due to any reason, and the views and experiences are my own and 100% honest!

Herbal Hair Care Powders Haul & Where to Buy Them Online?

Hey Everyone!
Today I am doing another haul, this time it is related to hair care. Since I have faced major hairfall when I moved to different city, the change of weather caught me off guard. I tried many shampoos and products and nothing seemed to solve it properly. Then I almost lost hope and then again, I got charged up to get my hair back in it's realm. So, I have watched many youtube videos about girls from different state and country swear by these herbal hair products that are from India. I was so ashamed of myself that foreign countries are availing the power of herbs especially from India, and I am searching for hair products that are not even made in India! Thus I searched online and bought herbal powders for hair as soon as possible.

Homemade Recipe to Clear Acne-Spots:

I have recently been dealing with occasional cystic acne and thus I am doing experiments a lot of new recipes, some known and some invented. Earlier I have shared my 1 Week challenge to fight with acne and acne-spots, but this time it is only about clearing the spots. Sometimes we poke our acnes intentionally or unintentionally and the result becomes very much ugly. But how much we care for those spots for healing rather than we prefer concealing; often even concealing does not work especially in summer-time when sweating melts away the makeup from our skin. So, if you want a naturally clear skin, do stay here for next few minutes.

Things Needed:
  • 1 clean bowl.
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh milk cream or malai (preferably directly separated from whole milk rather than store bought)
  • Pinch of turmeric.
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
  • 2 tablespoons of chickpea flour/besan.

Method: Add all the ingredients in a clean bowl and start applying it on the face. Also you can only apply it on to the needed area. Since it has fresh cream in it, it will be little bit sticky or hard spread on the skin but you will get there. Keep it for 15 to 20 minutes on the skin and wash it off with bit of scrubbing the pack, if you have combination to oily skin, use a mild face wash after it, and if you have dry skin, you can leave it that way to keep your skin moisturized.

  1. Use this pack for 3-4 days and your spots will be almost gone and if continued, it will vanish.
  2. You can see the positive result after first time.
  3. Using the top level of your whole milk (after boiling) called as malai will help in lightening the spots while restoring the moisture in your skin, as these area can become very dry and flaky.
  4. Lemon juice will also help in clearing the darkness of the spots.
  5. Turmeric will primarily fight with the leftover germs in the acne area and then try to lighten the spots.

Do try this pack and let me know if it helped you. And, if you have any queries or doubts, feel free to drop me your message in the contact form at the right side bar of this website.

Men’s Fashion Haul from Myntra!

Hello fellas, how is your weekend going on? Mine started with really good vibes and I hope yours the same.

Last week myntra had this amazing offers on fashion and no matter what a sale always attracts me as any scandalous news would attract journalists (hmm, that’s harsh). Anyways, it was a 2 days long sale with up to 80% off on various fashion brands and products. I went totally crazy and even my husband got interested in buying stuffs. So, I am going to do a haul post for men’s fashion stuffs from myntra today.

Recently myntra upgraded their site to ‘app only’ version which means there is no website and only app to shop from. It was bit sloppy at first and I couldn’t even open it to shop. After few hours, it go kind of smooth. There were brands like Vero Moda, Dressberry, W, Anouk, Biba, Roadster, UCB, Adidas, Fila on sale. Since it was a huge sale, the products went out of stock very soon or the wanted sizes or colors were not available.

Husband saw this new brand called Roadster endorsed by Ranveer Singh on the app and instantly he got hooked to it. As he is a man of swift decisions, he took t-shirts very fast and ordered it. Within no time, I asked him ‘whatever you are selecting let me see it before you place an order.’ And he replied, ‘I already ordered 6 t-shirts and now onto other products.’ I looked blank at him and thought if I could choose and order this fast, my life would have been much easier and peaceful.

The service was super fast, I did not expect the package to arrive on the 4 th day from the order placing day, and in midst of such a big sale, it is quite impressive!

Things Bought:

2 Roadster Polo T-shirt, 1 pack of 3 Roadster T-shirts, and 1 Yellow T-shirt.

He seemed really excited about his choices and quite happy with his shopping. When he received the products he was not so excited as he barely does shopping online and shopping itself is a very usual or ‘meh’ type of thing for him. It was me who got super excited and opened the package, and got him to try each t-shirt. While trying, he only looked happy!
If you are a boy or man and would love to see how the t-shirts look on person, do let me know in the comments.

So, this was men’s part, and you guys think that I would not buy anything for me? I did, and the haul post is coming soon, so stay tuned! <3 <3

NIVEA Night Whitening Skin Moisturiser Body Review:

I am quite a freak about body lotions and there is a serious need of body lotion for my skin throughout the year. Yes I have semi-dry body skin and the most used body lotion brand of mine would be NIVEA. I almost tried every single variant that is available in India and also a few gifted to me from my Dubai-uncle. So, this time NIVEA came up with a body lotion which is for night time and to de-tan the skin, is called NIVEA Night Whitening Skin Moisturiser Body Lotion. I was really excited as I told you guys already in my press release post, and I have used it for 3-4 weeks now and I am now going to review it.

Product Description: Day long exposure to the sun darkens the skin and the harsh external environment leaves it hydrated. Try NIVEA Night Whitening Skin Moisturiser with mela control and vitamin E. On repeated use it provides moisturised skin and even tone as it works on your skin through the night. Moisturise your skin every night and wake up to skin that feels cared for.

Price & Quantity: Rs. 135 for 100ml, Rs. 249 for 200ml.

Shelf Life: 2 years.

Ingredients: Aqua, Stearic Acid, Dimethicone, Isopropyl Palmitate, Paraffinum Liquidium, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetyl Palmitate, Octadecenedioic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Glyerine, Fragaria Ananassa Fruit Juice, Rubus Fruticosus Fruit Juice, Rubus Ideaus Fruit Juice, Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit Juice, Glyceryl Stearate, Magnasium Aluminum Silicate, Silica, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Carbomer, Phenoxyethanol, Methyleparaben, Propylparaben, Parfum, , Octadecenedioic Acid & berry extracts.

My Take on NIVEA Night Whitening Skin Moisturiser:

My skin is semi-dry which is even more painful as too light or too rich any of these types would leave my skin either dry or oily. But it is also next to impossible to find that perfect consistency body lotion for me, that too changing each season! After trying more than 20 different body lotions from different brands, I came to conclusion that there is no one body lotion that can be used for the whole year without any worry. But recently I have come across a near-holy grail body lotion that works magic on my skin!

NIVEA Night Whitening Skin Moisturiser claimed to be on scale 2 out of five in terms of consistency, which is very true. The moisturiser is quite light and only massaged into the skin, it is almost invisible but giving the skin perfect balance. I love using it even in day time, when staying at home. I use it just before going to bed and it makes my skin feel very loved and soft. I see the result next morning which is nice, supple and smooth skin.

The moisturiser smells lovely, fruity and berry type, and is not over-powering or weird. It lingers softly onto my skin. Only a small amount is needed while applying and it does not dry up or vanishes from my skin any soon. I can feel my skin well-nourished even after 4-5 hours.
I am using this for almost a month now, and all I can say is I am in love with it! After using it daily I can totally see there is a hint of lightening the tans of my arms, but it is not entirely gone. My skin is much nourished and moisturised even in this dry-hot weather (50 degrees!).

The Good Points:

  • Nourishing and moisturising.
  • Light on the skin.
  • Absorbs quickly without leaving traces.
  • Smells nice.
  • Makes skin soft and smooth.
  • Helps in lightening tan after regular use.
  • Easily available.
  • Only a small amount is needed.

The Not-so-Good Points:

  • No SPF (ofcourse, it is a NIGHT body lotion, but if there was, it would have been the best!)

Rating: 4.9/5.

My Recommendation: I would surely recommend this body lotion to all who are dealing with tan and under-nourished skin. Using the lotion at night and waking up to a lovely skin is entirely an awesome idea on NIVEA’s part. And I am really happy using this daily and would continue it.

Parachute Advanced Ayurvedic Hair Oil Review:

I heard someone say that we should change our hair products to make the products work on your hair better. I do not know how much true or effective that it, as I like to keep my hair products very organic and minimal. I use cold-pressed mustard oil, castor oil, oilve oil and for just light oiling, I use store brought almond oil. For the past few years I was using bajaj almond hair oil, and now I thought why I have stopped using coconut oil? I had no valid reason for that, so I started using Parachute Coconut Oil which was very pure but it was just for the sake of oiling my hair. I wanted something that would heal my damaged and frizzy hair. That is when I found this Parachute Advanced Ayurvedic Hair Oil and I thought let's give this a try. So, stay tuned for my review of this hair oil.

Product Description: The oil nourishes the hair roots and the scalp and effectively controls hair fall. So that you enjoy long, thick and beautiful hair. Usage also promotes hair growth, prevents pre-mature greying and reduces dandruff. So that your hair stays truly healthy.

Price & Quantity: Rs. 57 for 95ml.

Shelf Life: 3 years.

Ingredients: Amla, Gritakumari, Mehendi, Nagarmotha, Methi, Sugandhit Dravya, Coconut Oil.

Usage: Basis hair growth with daily application of cocnut-based hair oil vs unoiled hair. Massage regularly for best results.

My Take on Parachute Advanced Ayurvedic Hair Oil:

Although I have grown up using coconut oil, I was totally detached from it for the past few years. I almost forgot the goodness of it. But Parachute Advanced Ayurvedic Hair Oil  is something different. It is not purely coconut oil, it has coconut oil as its base oil, and there are many ingredients that works magic to hair. So, I have been using this hair oil for more than 2 months or so, and I think it is perfect time to review for you guys.

I have hardly experimented with hair oils, but such words like ayurvedic or natural or ogranic seems to draw my attention instantly and since I already loved using Parachute Coconut Oil, I had no doubts about this hair oil too.

This hair oil is bit thicker than any almond or coconut oil but not as castor oil. Yet, I feel pretty safe to use it often even when I do not shampoo my hair next morning. The oil is in light brownish or light caramel color, but the smell is very strong. It gave me headache when I used it first, and yet now I am not quite used to this strong 'ayurvedic' kind of smell. Although the smell somewhat wears off only a little afterwards.

This hair oil is perfect for deep conditioning, or overnight treatment. Shampooing even with a mild one removes this hair oil nicely without leaving any trace of it. My hair feels quite soft and smooth after using this hair oil. Although the frizz problem is not repaired by it. My hair-fall has almost come down to zero, which makes me the happiest! It sure adds benefit in growing hair faster. My husband also uses this hair oil and his hair grew super fast, while my hair growth conversion rate would be 8 on 10 which is also pretty impressive. My hair growth ratio was quite fine earlier but I had hair-fall problem which made my hair weak and thin, this oil stops hair fall and helps in growing. I do not feel that it has done any good to my damaged hair, but it has made it silky somewhat.

Overall, I like this hair oil and it is quite effective if used religiously.

The Good Points:

  • All natural ayurvedic hair oil.
  • Has coconut oil base.
  • Stops hair fall.
  • Grows hair well with regular use.
  • Makes hair soft.
  • Nourishes and conditions hair.
  • Easily available all over India.
  • Sleek packaging also good for traveling.
  • Pocket friendly-value for money.

The Not-so-Good Points:

  • Strong smell.
  • Thick oil.

Rating: 4/5.

My Recommendation: If you are dealing with problems like hair-fall, or stunted hair growth, you should definitely give this hair oil a try. I am very happy using this hair oil and yes it is in my permanent hair care list.

PS: I am trying new DIY hair care recipes like DIY hair serum and conditioners, keep visiting for more informations.
