RESULTS of 1 Week Home Remedy Skin Treatment Challenge!

Has it been 1 week yet? Yes! Okay, I was really excited to try this 1 Week Home Remedy Skin Treatment Challenge and to see what are the results. I am going to be very honest about this challenge, that in this 1 week, I have missed 2 days of treatment as I was totally busy with other things. But, I kind of coped up with this finally. Now, without wasting more of your precious time, I am coming to the vital parts of this challenge.

What I Did?

I used face pack every day before bath and one scrub twice a week and one steaming once a week. I am here adding my recipes for this treatment, but choose your treatment ingredients according to your skin type.

Scrub: This scrub can be used twice a week. Take one tablespoon of honey and two teaspoon of sugar and mix it. Scrub your face with this for 15 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. Before using the face pack, use this scrub.

Steam: Once a week, use a face steam. Add one green tea bag in boiling water, and boil for 5 minutes and keep it aside. Sit in front of the bowl and put your face over it and cover it with a towel. Take the steam for 30 seconds, take a break and then again take the steam. Keeping your face in the steam for longer may be harmful. So, be careful of the time limit. Do this for maximum 15 minutes and then pat dry your skin and apply your favorite moisturizer.

Skin-clearing Face Pack: 1 tea-spoon of grated potato, 2 tablespoons of milk, half a tablespoon of gram-flour, one pinch turmeric, and finally one teaspoon lemon juice and few drops of honey; mix all in a clean bowl. While grating the potato, add the remaining juice of it also as it does great for your skin or you can grind the potato with milk to get a smooth paste. Apply the mixed pack on the desired area and leave it for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, apply a bit of water to your face and gently scrub it away after 2 minutes.

If you have oily skin, add curd instead of milk. Use this pack 5 days a week, and 2 days use grated garlic instead of potato. Garlic treats the pimples and potatoes help in clearing the acne and acne-scars.

The Changes I Have Seen:

The scars are next to extinct, the pimples are almost gone. My face looks clearer and tan-free than ever. The most irritating problem in my face was the dark patch around my mount, which is also clearing. I feel smooth and soft skin which is great!!!

The One Week Pictures:

  • These pictures are taken under bright day light, no filter or editing done. I used kajal and maybe some lip balm in some of these pictures, other wise there are no makeup at all!
  • This treatment is for clearing acne, acne scars, tan or marks.
  • Doing this treatment for longer time and continuously will give you a bright clear smooth skin.
  • It is not mandatory to do this treatment for 1 week only, you can do this as long as your need or preference.
  • You can change the ingredients as per your skin, if your skin is not suitable for particular ingredient, you can replace it. But make sure you use ingredients like honey, curd or lemon juice which will help in clearing skin.
  • Use this treatment at regular basis, if not using daily, at least use it 3-4 times a week. You have to be constant, if you see your face is clearing up, you should not leave treating your skin.
  • Keep a healthy diet with protein and fiber in it. Drink lukewarm water with few drops of honey every morning to keep your system clean.
  • Add curd to your diet and have it every day.
  • Eat seasonal fruits to keep your skin and hair healthy from inside.
So, this was my experiment which went successful and I am going to post another update after 1 week just to show how this treatment helps int he long run.
