Patanjali Kesh Kanti Milk Protein Hair Cleanser Review:

I have never used any Patanjali skin or hair care products before until now. For the last 3 years or so, I was using a herbal brand shampoo which is based in Kolkata only, but as I am now in Hyderabad, my first worry was which shampoo am I going to use now! I do not trust any store-bought, chemical-infused shampoo and will never touch it. Then, while browsing into Spencer's, I found Patanjali Kesh Kanti Milk Protein Hair Cleanser. Although I was still in fear, I knew I had no other choice. So, I am using this shampoo for the last 2 weeks, and I feel it is the perfect to review it for you guys.

My Experience with Patanjali Kesh Kanti Milk Protein Hair Cleanser:

Packaging: This shampoo comes in a white and pink colored bottle with a flip open cap at the top. Honestly, the packaging is nothing fancy or special but yet again, what is in the packaging. It is travel-friendly though.

Texture & Smell: This shampoo is in white color, thick lotion type of consistency. The rich creamy texture of this shampoo lathers very well when mixed with water.
The smell is somehow disturbing to me, as I have been using my rosemary herbal shampoo for so long, and the detergent-y smell of this shampoo really makes me sad about my hair.

My Take: Okay, so, I am trying very hard to forget about my experience with pure and herbal shampoo and review Patanjali Kesh Kanti Milk Protein Hair Cleanser neutrally. First of all, it does amazing job at cleaning. I have oily scalp and it cleanses my scalp really well removing all the dirt and oil.
the next good thing about this shampoo is it makes my hair silky smooth. My hair texture is very fine itself and this shampoo makes my hair even more soft. I do not see any added shine to my hair though.
Since I have oily scalp, within 2-3 days, my scalp produces oil and if I do not wash my hair with shampoo, I find myself in my horrible nightmare with immense hair-fall. I use MABH Fast Growth Hair Oil 2-3 times a week and Dove Elixir Hibiscus & Argan Hair Oil daily with this shampoo.
I now have no such big hair-fall crisis, thanks to my hair oils. But, as I have moved to a different place and weather, I did face a little bit hair-fall, but now after 1 week of proper care, I see less hair fall. also, while using this shampoo, there is no hair-fall I see, which is a really good sign.

The Good Points:
  1. Cleanses nicely.
  2. Lathers well.
  3. Makes hair soft and smooth.
  4. No harsh chemicals.
  5. No hair-fall during and/or after hair wash.
  6. Affordable.
  7. Easily Available.
  8. Travel-friendly packaging.
The Not-so-Good Points:
  1. The smell could have been better.

My Rating: 4.3/5.

My Recommendation: I would definitely recommend this shampoo to everyone, especially with oily scalp persons. This is a little bit more than decent shampoo with no harsh chemicals and cleanses the scalp and hair very nicely making it soft and smooth. This is surely a worthy of a try for those who love herbal products.
