Pink is not my most favorite shade for makeup, but also I do not hate it (I am a girl after all!). Anyways, I was thinking about doing a makeup look and since it is summer, I wanted to make it look fresh and girly ofcourse! Pink is quite a refreshing shade if you ask me, it brings out the brightness and freshness in the look. So, without much ado, let us get on to the business.
I have used Lakme CC Cream in Bronze for this look. It gives the perfect medium coverage which is apt for daytime look. I have topped it with Colorbar Pressed Powder. And I have slightly contoured my cheeks with Inglot blush 30 and applied Inglot blush 20 on the apples of my cheeks. Inglot blush 30 is a cinnamon shade and blush 20 is a baby pink blush shade.
I have groomed my eye brows with Inglot eye shadow rainbow 107 (the darkest shade). On the eyes, I have used Oriflame Gel Eye liner to liner my upper lash line and applied Maybelline Colossal Kajal in the lower lash line. For the lids, I have done it really low profile. I applied the light shades from Inglot eye shadow rainbow 107 on both the lids.
For lips, I have used Maybelline Pink Alert POW2 lipstick. Since, I have used pink blush and bright pink lipstick; I had to go neutral for my eyes to balance out the look. White is the safest color to wear on hot summer days as it makes it easier to fight the scorching weather. I actually love big dangling earrings, and I could not resist these white laced love earrings to team up with this white salwar. Now, everyone has different ideas about makeup and for me, pink makeup does not have to be pink lips, pink eyes, pink cheeks… everywhere pink pink pink! I am comfortable in balancing things out, like either pink eye makeup or pink lips!
