DIY Concealer Tutorial: The Easiest Way

I still have not found my perfect match for foundation, you know how hard it can be to get the perfect match! And on top of this, no concealer ever agrees with me. I was going through youtube videos and found a simple and easy DIY concealer recipe. If you are a makeup-addict, you might know this one! But for those who are yet to try concealer and doesn't know where to start, take a minute to read this article.

Things You Will Need:
  • Your favorite moisturizer or lotion.
  • Compact power (left overs) which is 1 or 2 shades lighter than your complexion.
  • A clean container to store it.
  • Small mixing spatula.

DIY Concealer Step by Step Tutorial:

First of all, scrape out and pour it the compact powder in the container.

Next, break any lumps of the powder.

Now, add the moisturizer to it. Do not pour a lot of at once, try adding a few drops.

Mix well together.

Add each drops of moisturizer until you get a smooth creamy texture.

Take a small drop and apply it on your skin to check the texture and smoothness. (If you feel the texture needs smoothness in application, you can add a few drops of foundation).

Finally clean up the mess and store it properly.

On My Eyes:

This is a very simple way to create your own concealer super quick. It gives a dewy finish. I use this as my eye shadow primer also, it does not let my lids go oily and keeps the shadows put. Try this simple DIY and experience the true meanings of 'no one knows your skin better than you'.
