Valentine's Day Look: Neutral Smokey Eyes to Team Up with Red Lips

Wearing red dress, red stilettos and red lips are very cliched, yet on Valentine's Day nothing seems so right than this! And, I have got requests on doing a simple eye makeup to match red dress and red lipstick. So, here I am with a easy neutral smokey eyes tutorial for you guys!

Neutral Smokey Eyes to Team Up with Red Lips Tutorial:

  1. Firstly, I have used makeup base and also groomed my eye brows. Then, I have applied Maybelline Collossal Kajal on the waterline as well as the upper inner lash line to make my lashes appear bigger and fuller naturally.
  2. Then, I have applied a very light neutral shade (Inglot freedom system rainbow eye shadow 107) on the whole lid. The pictures might not able to show the shade properly, so you can understand it's absolutely neutral and also matte.
  3. Now, I have applied a matte chocolaty brown shade on the crease, but little extended. Then, I join the crease line with the outer corner of my eyes, making a V.

  4. It needs a lot of blending to make it look bit natural. Then, I applied the same shadow which I used for my lids to highlight my brow bone and the inner corner of my eyes. And the chocolaty brown shade just below my lower lash line and blend it well.
  5. With the same brown shade, I have drawn a line across the upper lash line using an angular brush.
  6. Now, apply the mascara and also some kajal if needed.

And your final look:

This is a very easy technique to create a neutral eyes with a bit of smokey eyes. This will look very flattering with any bright lipsticks or your favorite dress that you are planning to wear on the big day!
