My Experience with New Maybelline Baby Lips Pink Peony:

Packaging: It has the usual and standard Baby Lips packaging with a vibrant, almost neon pink color. The packaging is very sleek and handy in order to carry them in purse or pockets.

Texture: The texture of this lip balm is very glossy. It helps moisturizing the lips and yet it is not at all waxy. It is lightly tinted with a pink shade. When applied on lips, it gives a glossy finish which looks very good. The pigmentation makes my lips appear lighter in shade and this pink shade looks like my natural lip shade.

Staying Power: It claims 6 hours of moisture and protection, I would say, it is true! It actually stays for 6 hours or more. It keeps my lips locked in moisture and nourished the whole time. Sometimes, even if I eat, I do not need to reapply it.

Overall: I love Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balms, I already have four of them in different variations. They are slightly pigmented, keeps lips very smooth and soft. The staying power is amazing. I specially liked this one because of the pink pigment, it hides my pigments on lips and yet my lips look somehow naturally beautiful. So far, Pink Peony is my favorite Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm!

The Good Points:

  • Keeps lips nourished and soft.
  • Locks the moisture in.
  • Beautifully pigmented.
  • Glossy and sheer finish.
  • Affordable.
  • Not waxy or sticky.
  • It has SPF 16.

The Not-so-Good Points:
  • Claims but not allergy tested.

See! No visible pigmentation!

My Rating: 4.7/5.
