Lakme Absolute Bi-Phased Makeup Remover Review & Demo:

I am bit old-fashioned when it comes about removing makeup. I have sensitive skin and I feel the alcohol based makeup removers are not suitable for my skin. Yet, there are times when I feel extremely lazy to lather oilve oil and massage and then again wash it off with mild face wash or cleanser; removing makeup with a makeup remover seems far easy.

Product Description: The Lakme Bi-phased Makeup Remover goes deep to remove all traces of makeup from your face leaving it feelingclean, hydrated and refreshed. So with this Lakme Makeup Remover in your kitty, you can be assured of getting rid of that waterproof eyeliner or that long wear lip stick in a jiffy. Flaunt your natural look that is free from makeup and steer clear of skin breakdowns or irritation.

Directions to use:
  • Shake the bottle gently to activate the formulation.
  • Apply the desired amount of this Bi-phased Makeup Remover on a cotton pad and gently wipe over the makeup in a circular motion.
  • Splash lukewarm water over your face and finish with a good moisturiser.
Ingredients:

Price & Quantity: Rs. 210 for 60 ml.

Shelf Life: 2 years.

My Experience with Lakme Absolute Bi-Phased Makeup Remover:

Packaging: Well, Lakme Absolute Bi-Phased Makeup Remover comes in a quite handy sized, aqua colored spray bottle. The idea of the spray bottle is very useful and hygienic.

Texture: The liquid is transparent and after shaking the bottle bubbles get formed and with little spraying, the semi-clear liquid comes out. I am not a scientist neither a science student, so although there is no mention of alcohol in the ingredients list, but I though the "alpha beta gamma" ingredients might be hinting that it has alcohol. But, to my astonishment, neither the liquid stings as alcohol based all products do, nor it smells like one.

Cleaning: When, it comes to cleaning, I think it does a pretty good job. It leaves no traces of the heavy kajal, mascara, lipsticks or even foundation. It removes eye makeup also, which I found very helpful and the good part is it never hurts my eyes!

My Thoughts: As I have sensitive skin, I always try to stay away from alcohol based products, the stings a lot! But, this makeup remover is something different. It cleans the skin very well without leaving any traces of makeup. It does not dry out my skin also. With the budget friendly price tag, I think Lakme Absolute Bi-Phased Makeup Remover is quite a steal deal!

The Good Points:
  • Affordable.
  • Useful packaging, travel friendly.
  • Cleans makeup, even eye makeup pretty well.
  • Does not sting.
  • Leaves no traces of makeup.
  • Goes for a long time.
  • Suitable for sensitive skin.
  • Easily available.

The Not-so-Good Points:
  • I don't see one!

Demo:

Lakme Absolute Kohl, Lakme 9 to 5 lipstick, Lakme Absolute Sun-kissed Bronzer swatches

After one swipe of soaked cotton with the Lakme Absolute Bi-Phased Makeup Remover

After the second swipe, clean!

No traces! Yay!

My Rating: 4.7/5.
