My Winter Favorites:

Chilly wind and cloudy days are not just my types. I become ever more lazy and when I am not doing work, I get really annoyed! But, winter is here, and to fight these days I had my soldiers right beside me. So, a lazy post today showing what are my winter favorites this year!

For Face:
I bought this Fab India De-pigmentation cream few months back and it really saved my skin this winter. I have combination skin with some parts dry and this cream works best for me.

For Lips:
This season I bought this yummy looking lip butter from Nivea in raspberry rose! And I am absolutely in love with this! It cures all types of lip problems and keeps my lips just smooth, soft and healthy. I am going to use it even after this season, yes I have gone crazy over this! :P

For Skin:
Body butters and oils are always on my hot list during winter. This year Oriflame Elixir Body Cream saved my skin from being harsh and dry. I loved this light weight and mild smelling body cream which made my skin real smooth!

For Hands:

I wash my hands too much, and the result is a stretchy palm and dry skin. I used Sally Hansen Radiant Hands, Nails & Cuticles Creme which is just heavenly! Its lovely orange-y smell and thick butter like consistency really kept my hands healthy and glowing. It also helped in growing my nails big!

So, that is it! I loved these products this winter and really grateful I found them.
Now, please share your thoughts on this!
xoxo

Himalaya Herbal Lean Tea Review:

Want to burn extra calories? We all do, right? For the past 2 years or so I have been drinking green tea almost regularly and to be honest, it does make my health little bit better and to watch my weight. Now, I have previously tasted Lipton, Twingings, Tetley and even Himalaya Green Tea; but when weeks ago when I was getting my monthly supply of green tea, I saw 'Lean Tea'! Within a second it clicked right in my brain, lean tea = weight loss! And, I bought it! So, let us see how exactly is this Lean Tea!

Product Description: Buring carbohydrate was never refreshing. Himalaya Lean Tea gives you a gentle hand-up with its special formulation. Proven to help your body burn extra calories and regularize your appetite. Go ahead, feel more gorgeous with every cup.

Price & Quantity: Rs. 95 for 10 tea bags.

Shelf Life: 3 years.

Ingredients: Vrikshamla (garcinia cambogia), Nagaramusta (Cyperus Scariosus), Guggulu (Commiphora wightii).

Direction: Immerse one tea bag in a cup of freshly boiled water. Let it stand for 3 minutes to enjoy a rejuvinating hot drink. Or, pour over ice for a refreshing iced drink. Use regularly once.

My Experience with Himalaya Herbal Lean Tea:

Packaging: If you have seen Himalaya Herbal teas, you could know that this has the same packaging, one square cartoon box, and inside 10 tea bags with a small brochure of Himalaya Herbals' other teas.
Each tea bags are sealed in separate satchels and in a very hygienic way.

Taste: Do you like green tea? If you don't, you probably gonna hate it. Though it has some refreshing taste, but I get a very bitter taste after finishing it up or when in the end it gets little cold. So, it is best to have it hot. I honestly have no problem with it's taste whatsoever, but some of my peeps really have hard time to enjoy herbal teas.
It has a refreshing taste with a bit of bitterness but however, the taste is very mild, as you can see the color of the tea is also very light. So, I guess, having just one cup of Himalaya Herbal Lean Tea per day would not be just a pain!

Result: Before I get to disclose the result it has done to me, I would like to say that I did not only take this to manage my weight. I was 56 kgs months ago and I do workout 5-6 days a week, also I take green tea everyday, also I have high metabolism (meaning, I can gain or lose weight fast). After two months of this routine I am now 54.5 kgs, and very fit. So, I cannot say that this tea only has helped my reduce my weight. My target is 52-53 kgs and I can say, I am on its way!

Final Words: If you are really to compromise a bit with your taste, you can try this Lean Tea to manage your weight with of course your healthy diet and workout routine.

My Rating: 4/5.

Lakme Absolute Moon-lit Highlighter Review & Swatches:

I love highlighters, they just happens to be the magical final touches to obtain that glamorous look. Today I will be reviewing Lakme Absolute Moon-lit Highlighter.

Product Details: Luxurious ultra pearlised Face Highlighter duo, with its micro-fine velvet pearls which melts into your skin for a natural luminous glow.

Price & Quantity: Rs. 600 for 9 g.

Shelf Life: 2 years.

My Experience with Lakme Absolute Moon-lit Highlighter:

Packaging: Well, most of the highlighters are presented in duo form which is very user friendly. The big round compact packaging is very sleek and portable though it is lacking any attraction. I think I am not wrong to expect a little more classy packaging from Lakme! And, also, no mirror or applicator brush!

Texture: I know I said I love highlighters but unfortunately, not this one! Why? Because and only because of its texture. It is way too much glittery! The finish is pearly with velvet touch, it does not hurt my skin to apply it, very smooth actually.

In the left, it is a pearl or vanilla shade with loads of glitters and in the right we have a bronze shade also with loads of glitters. I found the pearl shade little bit useful for highlighting but the bronze shade is not that useful for contouring either. And, I am not such a fan of sun-kissed look.

Pigmentation: The good thing is, it is highly pigmented. Also, it does not fall off easily and it stays in place for hours. So, there is no complaining about its pigmentation or staying power.

Final Verdict: If you like party looks and have no problem with glitters, then you might like it. But, if you are like me, happy with little bit of highlighting, then skip it.

The Good Points:
  • Decent pricing.
  • Very nice pigmentation.
  • Staying power is also very good.
  • Does not fall off or fade.
  • Huge amount of product, requires only a bit.
  • Can be done highlighting and bronzing.

The Not-so-Good Point:
  • Lots of glitters.
  • Cannot do contouring with it.
  • Packaging is a little off, no mirror or applicator.

My Rating: 3/5.

Midnight Blue Nails and White Flowers Nail Art Picture Tutorial:

For the last year, I hardly had my nails done with a single nail paint. I just cannot resist the temptation to do nail arts even if just a flower or dots or anything. So, I bought this amazing midnight blue shade Elle 18 nail paint and wore it, then I felt little sunaa sunaa (empty) and thought of the color white and drew small white flowers in it. Now, this is very simple to do, and guess what, I have a tutorial for you (Duh)!

Products I Have Used:

  • Deep blue nail paint. (I have used Elle 18 color pops 57)
  • White nail paint/ nail art bottle.
  • Top coat.
  • Remover & Q-tips.

Step by Step Tutorial:

1. Firstly, apply the nail paint on the nails. Apply double coat for a nice coverage.

2. Then, you need to do the flowers. You can draw two of them or more and anywhere you prefer. I have done them in the root of my nails. For the flower, draw five dots forming a circle. Now, very carefully connect the dots right in the middle, and that's your flower!

3. I have done two flowers as you can see in the pictures but in no particular order.

4. Now, with the Q-tip remove if there is any mess around your nails.

5. Finally apply top coat and let dry.

This is the most simplest and easiest nail art ever possible in my opinion. And yet this never fails to attract eyes in a flash. So, if you still think nail arts are complicated or time consuming, reconsider it and try this one!
I really hope you guys like it and if you do like it, don't forget to leave your lovely comments!
Stay beautiful girls...xoxo
