Sally Hansen Radiant Hands, Nails & Cuticle Crème Review:

Hola amigos! How are you all doing? Well, until now, I never considered using nails and cuticle crème. But in last month’s Vellvette Box, I got the very same; so I started using it right away. And, today I am going to review that crème, i.e. Sally Hansen Radiant Hands, Nails & Cuticle Crème.

Product Description:Instant manicure in tube. You will get beautifully groomed hands, nails & cuticles that look like you just left the salon! Multi-benefits of vitamin A, C, E, Grape Seed Oil, Chamomile plus special, light weight moisturizer that soften and smooth skin while strengthening nails. Absorbs instantly without the grease. Gentle, quick & easy to use. Result guaranteed. Dermatologist tested.

Price & quantity: INR 775 3.5 oz/99.2g.
Key Ingredients:

Usage Direction: Apply as needed. Massage fingertips to wrist, then concentrate on cuticles.

My Take on Sally Hansen Radiant Hands, Nails & Cuticle Crème:

Packaging & Texture: Sally Hansen Radiant Hands, Nails & Cuticle Crème comes in a quite large orange colored tube with white flip cap at the bottom. The flip cap is perfectly sturdy and as the crème is thick, the bottom cap does not do any harm like wasting too much of the product. The smell of the crème is one of my favorite points about it, it smells like little bit orange-y, yet very nice. The crème is as I said before very thick in texture, also it is like the typical cold crème type but in a good way.

My Experience: Previously, I have heard and read reviews about Sally Hansen products but never used it. But now, I am thankful to Vellvette Box that they sent this one! Not only it smells awesome, it actually works!

I am into nail arts like crazy, so using so much enamels and removers my nails lost its shine. After using this crème for hardly two times I really was amused to see its result. My nails became shiny and smooth at the same time strong also. When the monsoon came, my nails started chipping off, still now the weather is so humid but this crème keeps my nails as strong as always.

I only concentrate using this crème on my nails and cuticle area massaging it gently, and it really gives such a feel like freshly done manicure. I agree to its all claims, they in no ways are false!

The After Effect: Sally Hansen Radiant Hands, Nails & Cuticle Crème made my monsoon-affected brittle nails strong, shiny and smooth. Whenever I am done with water work, I use this and the lovely smell is something that I have fallen in love with!

The Good Points:
  1. Best quality brand.
  2. Smells very nice.
  3. Does everything it claims.
  4. Makes nails shiny and smooth.
  5. Makes brittle nails strong.
  6. Absorbs nicely after massaging.
  7. Does not feel greasy.
  8. Quite a large quantity.
  9. Nice and attractive packaging.
  10. Travel friendly.

The Not-So-Good Points: Maybe I am blindly in love with this crème, cannot think of any not-so-good points! :P

My Rating:10/5!

Do I Recommend Sally Hansen Radiant Hands, Nails & Cuticle Crème?
YES! Are you having brittle, shine-less nails? Use it, you won’t be disappointed.

Would I Repurchase?
Yes! Won’t ever leave using this.

Elle 18 Color Pops Coral Romance Review, Swatches & LOTD:

Elle 18 Color Pops are quite a craze among teens and also any other ages. The affordable price and the bright and beautiful colors attract everyone. Last time when I went shopping, I could not resist buying two of them. Today, I will be reviewing Elle 18 Color Pops Coral Romance.

Product Description:Elle18 Color Pops add a blast of colour on your lips to dress you up for any occasion. With colours and shades that can match different coloured attires, these color pops come with integrated lip balm that gently moisturises the lips and keeps them supple.

Price & quantity: INR 100 for 4.3 ml.
Shade Reviewed: Elle 18 Color Pops Shade No. 42 (Coral Romance).

Key Ingredients: Cocoa Butter.

Shelf Life: 30 months.

My Take on Elle 18 Color Pops Coral Romance:

Packaging & Texture: Elle 18 Color Pops Lipsticks comes in a very small and trendy black packaging. The bullet is quite sturdy but the smell of it is quite strange. It somehow smells like medicines.

My Experience: Since a few months, I am totally into corals and MLBB. So, this shade is quite nice. The bullet is very easy to glide on the lips. But one problem is, it does not provide pigment evenly. Though it covers my pigmented lips pretty well, but I need to spend extra time to apply this one evenly all over. Using a lip brush might be a good idea in that case.

The staying power of this lipstick is not more than average. After applying this lipstick my lips stay in moisture and smooth for long time. And soon after the pigments of this lipstick settles on the fine lines. And this problem would not be solved by only reapplying, I need to wipe it off and reapply. So, that is quite disappointing.

Well, one good point is it gets removed easily without leaves traces of the color on my lips, and this saves a bit of my time. :P

The After Effect: In my opinion, in such affordable price, Elle 18 is not that bad, though my Blue Heaven Xpression Lipstick seems to perform better; still this one is good for its lovely shades. It never caused my lips any dryness, it is surely wearable.

The Good Points:
  1. Good brand.
  2. Affordable price.
  3. Trendy packaging.
  4. Sturdy bullet.
  5. Proper color.
  6. Keeps lips in moisture.

The Not-So-Good Points:
  1. Staying power could be better.
  2. Settles in fine lines.
  3. Applying evenly is a tough job.
  4. Not suitable for dusky skin tone.
My Rating:4/5.

Do I Recommend Elle 18 Color Pops Coral Romance?
This is a nice lipstick, looking at the price, do not expect much. So, yes.

Would I Repurchase?
I think yes!

Accessories Haul from Slassy.com: Site Review

I do not stop making online purchases, and because of the extra free time I have in my hand, I keep searching for the best and useful products and accessories for myself in various sites. This was my first purchase from Slassy.com; here I will share my experience with it.

First of all, the name implies Stylish + Classy= Slassy; how cool is that? Anyways, this site ships and delivers products nationwide and free shipping on above purchase value Rs. 499. Slassy.com provides women clothing, skin-hair care products, makeup products, perfumes and etc. Slassy.com claims to deliver at most within 3-5 days depending of the delivery location. The discounts on Slassy.com are very decent, the availability of my desired products were there to choose amongst vast variety of products.

The customer care service is more than satisfying, I needed to make some changes in my order, so as Slassy.com calls on the given phone number within 24hours of the purchase to confirm the order; I was waiting for that opportunity. But, due to bad network connection, I could not explain to the executive. So, I sent an e-mail explaining what changes I want to make, and within 15 minutes I got an reply e-mail saying the changes are made as per my request.

The shipment was made within 24 hours, and I received my parcel on the fourth day of my purchase. I am very much satisfied with the service of Slassy.com.

What I Bought From Slassy.com:
  • Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm - Coral Flush.
  • Vega Eye Shadow Brush.
  • Vega Angular Brush.
  • Faces Emery Boards.
  • Audrey’s Eye Applicator Brush.
  • Nirus Spin Clip.

I also got a VLCC sunscreen lotion sample sachet with these products. I enjoyed shopping from Slassy.com, did you guys shop from Slassy?

Step II: Then, on the lids apply the purple eye shadow evenly. {No. 2 in the picture.}
Step III: Now, apply the black shadow on the edge of the upper eye lid, like eye liner. {No. 3 in the picture.}
Step IV: Tracing the line of black shadow, now make that line bit thicker moving towards the middle of the eye lids. {No. 4 in the picture.}
Step V: Start blending the two shades where they meet, from the inner corner of the eyes to the edge of it. {No. 5 & 6 in the picture.}
Step VI: Now, apply the purple shade on the inner corner of your lower lid to the middle of it. And, apply the black shade on the outer corner of your lower lid blending it with the upper lid shade. {No. 7 in the picture.}
Step VII: Then, apply a silver or white shade right below your brows and in the inner corner of your eyes. {No. 8 in the picture.}

Maybelline Baby Lips Color Lip Balm- Berry Crush Review and Swatch:

Hi there! I am sure Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm does not need any introduction; almost all of us have experienced its total goodness. For those who has not yet, here I will be reviewing Maybelline Baby Lips Color Lip Balm- Berry Crush. This is my second tube, and let us find out how is it.

Product Description:The next generation of lip balm is born, from Maybelline New York. Adult strength care for baby soft lips in vibrant translucent colors. Infused with pure color system for a translucent pop of color and shine.

Price & quantity: INR 150 for 4.5g.

Key Ingredients:

Usage Direction: Turn the base 1-2 times for usage. Reapply when lips are exposed to sun, wind or cold for maximum protection.

Shelf Life: 2 years.

My Take on Maybelline Baby Lips Color Lip Balm- Berry Crush:

Packaging & Texture: Maybelline Baby Lips Color Lip Balm comes in a very trendy twisting tube. The bullet is very creamy yet sturdy. It is very easy to glide on the lips. The texture of the lip balm is not sticky or waxy.

My Experience: I need to stay away from all products that contains SPF, I have this weird allergy that only comes if I use SPF-infused products and step out. But Maybelline Baby Lips Color Lip Balm claims it is dermatologist and allergy tested; and it never caused me any allergies.

I love using this lip balm, because of its creamy texture. Though it is named as color lip balm, but the color is not highly pigmented. It only provides a mildly tinted gloss effect. So, it does not cover my pigmented upper lip. But the red tinted glossy and shiny lip balm gives my lips a nice look. The smell is also very nice.

The staying power of this lip balm is extra-ordinary; though it may not stay for 6 hours, but it does cover 3-4 hours. It keeps my lips perfectly moisture and soft. It prevents chapped lips also. The small and slim tube goes a long life.

The After Effect: This lip balm provides long hours of moisture to my lips and keeps my lips soft and smooth. Unless eating, it does not need reapplication for a long time. Overall, it is a great lip balm for all time.

The Good Points:
  1. Good quality brand.
  2. Nourishing lip balm.
  3. Stays long hours.
  4. Non sticky or waxy.
  5. Affordable.
  6. One tube goes a long life.
  7. Not too much pigmented.

The Not-So-Good Points:
  1. The base of the tube could be more spacious to hold and twist.

My Rating: 5/5.

Do I Recommend Maybelline Baby Lips Color Lip Balm- Berry Crush?
Yes! If you haven’t tried it yet, give it a try for sure.

Would I Repurchase?
Of course! Who wouldn’t!

Blue Heaven Xpression Lipstick-Iced Cocoa Review, Swatches and LOTD:

Hey friends, today I am going to review one of India’s most affordable brands’ recently launched lipstick, Blue Heaven Xpression Lipstick-Iced Cocoa. Now, Let us see how it was.

Product Description:

  • Non bleeding, non feathering formula.
  • Gives rich n creamy feel.
  • Provides intense colour.
  • Smooth gliding technology.
  • Increases elasticity and softness of lips.
  • Stays for hours on lips.
  • Gives full coverage.

Price & Quantity: INR 90 for 4g.

Shade NO.: CB 028 (Iced Cocoa).
Shelf Life: 3 Years.

My Take On Blue Heaven Xpression Lipstick-Iced Cocoa:

Packaging & Texture: The packaging of this lipstick is quite disappointing. The golden color plastic body is below the level. The bullet is of a creamy texture, yet sturdy. The smell is not bad, quite nice.

My Experience: I have this crazy habit to try different lipstick and nail enamel shades, and when I buy, I just ignore the brands. This particular shade is named Iced Cocoa, but the shade is totally different, something like pinkish magenta. So, I liked the shade and wanted to try it.

Well, it did not disappoint me at all. The color is very suitable for Indian skin tone-types, also very wearable. The creamy texture helps in applying the lipstick nicely. Only two swipes give a proper color on the lips. Now, about staying power, it surprised me by staying more than 5 hours. Honestly, I have only experienced matte lipsticks staying this long; but in spite of being a creamy lipstick it amazed me. Like the brand claims, it did not bleed or faded till I started my eating session. Though it survived my babbling period! :P

The After Effect: Blue Heaven Xpression Lipstick-Iced Cocoa did not dry out or caused chapped lips. It kept my lips perfectly moisture and soft for a really long time. Also, it does not leave traces after removing it off my lips.

Overall, I loved the lipstick, the shade and also the creamy texture and long-staying power of it.

The Good Points:
  1. Cheap price.
  2. Creamy texture.
  3. Easy to apply and remove.
  4. Does not cause chapped lips.
  5. Nice proper color.
  6. Super pigmented.
  7. Does not bleed.
  8. Stays for long hours.
  9. Does not fades.

The Not-So-Good Points:
  1. The cheap packaging.
  2. Misleading name.

My Rating: 4.6/5.

Do I Recommend Blue Heaven Xpression Lipstick-Iced Cocoa? Yes. Decent wearable color.

Would I Repurchase? Yes, I will.

Oriflame Milk & Honey Gold Moisturizing Shower Cream Review:

Shower creams and gels are much better than soaps. They are hygienic and luxurious. Today, I am going to review one of my favorite shower creams, Oriflame Milk & Honey Gold Moisturizing Shower Cream. Here are the details.

Product Description: Luxurious shower cream with moisturizers and organic milk and honey extract to gently cleanse and leave your skin soft, without feeling dry.

Price & quantity: INR 399 for 200ml/ 6.6 fl. Oz.
Ingredients:

Shelf Life: 3 years.

My Take on Oriflame Milk & Honey Gold Moisturizing Shower Cream:

Packaging & Texture: Oriflame Milk & Honey Gold Moisturizing Shower Cream comes in a fat cream and gold color tube with a flip cap at the bottom. The shower cream is actually creamy and thick in consistency. It has a very mild jasmine fragrance which is bit weird. Also, I found the cap is not that sturdy, I need to be careful not to break it.

My Experience: I like the creamy texture of this shower cream. Only a few drops are enough for bathing; hence this fat tube will last long. It lathers very well, and while applying the mild jasmine smell feels very soothing. It cleanses the skin pretty nice and it is very easy to wash off also. It never leaves any slippery feel while washing off. It does not dry out my semi-dry skin; also it does not moisturize either. I do not feel the urge to apply moisturizer right after my bath, it feels somewhat normal. The mild jasmine smell lingers onto skin for sometime, which I find very nice.

The After Effect: The shower cream is very good for daily use, it cleans skin also does not dry out my skin. The smell is little bit weird since there is no hint of the fragrance Jasmine mentioned in the product. Overall, I liked this product.

The Good Points:
  1. Good quality product.
  2. Smells weird, but nice.
  3. Affordable price.
  4. cleans skin.
  5. Does not leave slippery feel.
  6. Fat tube will go long way.
  7. Travel friendly packaging.

The Not-So-Good Points:
  1. The cap is not-sturdy.
  2. Does not moisturize skin.
  3. Contains SLS.

My Rating: 3.9/5.

Do I Recommend Oriflame Milk & Honey Gold Moisturizing Shower Cream?
Yes, it is a decent shower cream.

Would I Repurchase?
Maybe!
